Student Feedback:

"During the last four years I have attended a number of art workshops. Jane’s by far, was the most organised, stimulating, exciting and enjoyable course. Leaving the result to the process we followed was so liberating. I could reel off lines of superlatives about this workshop, this would be meaningless except that in the past, one of my professional duties was assessing teacher’s lessons. I'd give Jane’s an 'excellent'. I hope to attend another one."

"I got a lot of out it personally ...it was a lot of fun and Jane had cool music playing to get us going. Tuition, wine tasting from a new vineyard and ALL art materials were included so it was easy to just rock up and getting going. We had a lovely lunch at the Saddleback Café. Jane was very generous sharing her techniques and spent a lot of time helping people...i finished a whole painting that people said I should frame so I was pretty happy about that plus she shared some books with us and I discovered some new artists I would like to follow up more especially abstract nudes...so yes was good value from my side $380 for whole weekend"

"I booked into Jane's workshop because I have always admired her paintings and I went along, that first morning, feeling very nervous and apprehensive. But, I needn't have worried -Jane was so positive and encouraging. Also, she was very generous with her talent and techniques and I loved the whole weekend experience. I had never used oils before, but Jane gave me confidence to try something new. One painting I did has been much admired and I have had many offers to buy it! On the strength of that experience, I have booked into another workshop."

"I had such an enjoyable two days taking part in the Art Workshop. The atmosphere was very relaxing, great music, and only 12 in the class kept it intimate and friendly. There was plenty of interaction between each other as well as with Jane. I thought it very good value, all materials provided and wine. I now feel well equipped to take my painting to a higher level, and am very motivated after spending this time with Jane, whose work I have long admired."

"The workshops are a great way to begin thinking in a different way. We experimented with a chosen palette and a range of tools which many of us had not used before. This was a good way to explore different effects and colour mixing. The quality of the materials were excellent which was quiet refreshing. Jane's approach was both encouraging and helpful. You leave feeling inspired."

"Great workshop - like a good movie I am still thinking about it some months later. The workshop was well planned with inspiring instruction and included good food, wine and a meeting of like minds."
